Some people call her a Beauty Queen,
We call her a Scholar!
Young women from across the state will compete in the Miss Johnson County Pageant this upcoming year. The pageant will be held in the beautiful Olathe Northwest High School Auditorium, January 4, 2014.
The Miss Johnson County Pageant is a qualifier to both the Miss Kansas & Miss America Pageants, and they are all part of the Miss America Organization, “The World’s Largest Scholarship Provider to Young Women.“
At The Miss Johnson County Scholarship Pageant, we believe in the 4 points of the Miss America Crown: Service, Style, Scholarship, and Success! We are looking for young women who want to become an active and integral part of our community! Our board will focus on helping you prepare for the Miss Kansas pageant and become the best YOU possible, to represent the great state of Kansas!
Join us for an unforgettable journey to the crown!
Miss Johnson County Contestants Requirements:
- Must be 17 – 24 years old
- Must live or attend school in the state of Kansas.
- Must be able to compete in the following categories: interview, talent, swimsuit, evening gown and on-stage question.
This year, the Miss Johnson County Scholarship Pageant will also have a Sunflower Princess Program.
The Sunflower Princess Program is an opportunity for young girls, ages 5 to 13, to be part of the Miss Johnson County Pageant. Each girl will participate on a short production number, model a dress, and be crown on stage. After crowning, the girls will take a group photo for friends and family.
This is a fun opportunity for young girls who have an interest on learning about volunteerism and building self-confidence. It will also be a great experience for girls who will like to participate in the Miss Kansas and Miss America Pageants in the future.
